Peter Biello and his late wife Grace were married for 50 years before she passed in late 2014.

As a symbol of their love, both Peter and Grace signed a $1 bill each that they kept as a keepsake.

However, in 2010 Peter accidentally spent the $1 bill with Grace’s signature and heartbroken, resigned to the fact that he’d probably never see it again.

According to a report on Daily Mail, Bilello kept the bills in his possession for a year until 2010, when he used them both by mistake while he was out shopping.

The pair were inseperable since getting married in 1964 and stayed strong even when Grace was diagnosed with cancer twice during their marriage.

However, sadly after 13 years as a cancer survivor, Grace passed away in November 2014.

It was after she passed that Bilello starting thinking about the dollar bill he lost four years earlier, but he tried to push it to the back of his mind because he knew it was gone forever.

Then a few weeks ago, Bilello took his 14-year-old granddaughter, Ashley to a Subway sandwich shop.

He paid for the meal by giving her a $10 bill and received three single dollar bills in return.

It was then that he looked down at his change and noticed that the second dollar had ‘Grace B’ written on it.

He couldn’t believe the miracle and believes that Grace somehow found a way to get the dollar back to him.
