Young Mother Horrifically Bashed During Wild Brawl
A young mother is currently recovering in hospital with serious injuries after she was stomped on and bashed during a wild brawl on Sunday night.
22-year-old Ariel Kelly had been attending a Bachelor and Spinsters Ball in Tooradin when the fight broke out between dozens of people.
Ms Kelly had been trying to help a friend caught up in the brawl when one of the offenders threw her against a fence and repeatedly kicked her in the head, stomach and back.
The young mother witnessed a man being coward punched before he fell to the ground and was repeatedly struck in the head when she decided to step in.
"It was a pretty huge fight, a lot of people were involved," Ms Kelly said to 9NEWS.
"I could see he was bleeding a lot, I just wanted to check he was okay and another fight started again.
"It was insane, I can't believe someone would act like that it was fight, after fight, after fight."
It is believed that the series of attacks broke out after a man asked someone to turn down their music at a campsite.
Several people were injured during the incident.
Police are currently investigating.
