WATCH: Liberal MP Proposes To Partner During Parliament
In the middle of a marriage debate in the House of Representatives, Liberal MP Tim Wilson has proposed to his partner!
Wilson's partner, Ryan, was sitting in the gallery while Wilson gave his speech on Dean Smith's marriage bill.
Wilson choked up as he asked Ryan “will you marry me”, who gave an enthusiastic “yes."

It comes as the Senate passed Dean Smith’s marriage bill last week, with 43 senators voting in favour of the proposed legislation, while only 12 voted against.
The bill will now be debated in the House of Representatives and could be passed by the end of the week.
If no amendments are passed, it will go on to the Governor-General for Royal Assent, where it will be made law, and marriage equality will be a reality.
