Two Young Melbourne Cops Save Choking Baby On Busy Road
Two young cops have been hailed heroes after saving a choking baby in the middle of a busy Narre Warren road.
First Constable Callum Nathan and First Constable Luke Bull were stopped on Plunkett Road by a visibly distressed woman holding an 18-month-old baby struggling to breathe.
Nathan took the bub and tapped its back while Bull called an ambulance.
The baby girl spat out the piece of cucumber and started to breathe normally again.
A police spokeswoman said the outcome was "one of relief for all involved, especially the baby's mum".
