It's been a horror night on the roads in Melbourne overnight as two men have died in separate incidents.
One man was killed after his car smashed into a power pole in the early hours of this morning in Oakleigh South.
The man was found dead at the scene by police at around 2.20am. Lanes on North Road remain closed.
A second man was fatally struck by a car while he was travelling on a mobility scooter on Wednesday evening in Langwarrin.
The impact of the car caused the man to be thrown around 20 metres in the air and he landed between a fence and a tree.
Paramedics attended the scene, however, he was pronounced dead at around 9pm last night.
The two accidents were in no way connected and police are continuing to investigate both incidents.
