Total Fire Ban In Parts Of Victoria As Temperatures Soar
Firefighters have warned that a heat wave in Australia's south-east region could lead to dangerous fire conditions today.
Temperatures in Victoria's Mallee district are said to soar up into the high 30s with Mildura expected to hit 38 degrees.
High temperatures combined with northerly winds has elevated the threat of bushfires and as a result there is a Total Fire Ban throughout the Mallee district.
