This Melbourne Train Station Now Has No Car Park Access

Melbourne’s Hughesdale train station has lost its carpark for the foreseeable future.

As level crossing removal works get underway in the area, it has been scheduled that the car park used by passengers will be off limits until mid-2018.

Passengers are being advised that if they wish to drive to the station, they must park at East Malvern station or Holmesglen station, which are a further ten minutes away.

The closure is effective as of the 11th of January and follows a previous closure in December.

There are currently station closures in Heatherdale, Blackburn Road, Heatherdale Road and Carnegie as the government rushes towards its 50 railroad crossing removal target.
