This Melbourne Suburb Is About To Get A BRAND NEW Cinema

A cinema which will feature six screens and a new style of candy bar has been announced in Clayton.

Village cinemas have unveiled the plans for a new cinema opening in 2018, which is set to the first of its kind in Victoria.

The cinemas are part of M-City Monash, a $1 billion development in Clayton that will feature apartments, a hotel, a Woolworths, Kmart, restaurants and offices.

The complex will have more than 1,000 seats and offer other entertainment concepts including a stylish bar.

It was revealed in June that the Saraceno and Shiavello groups had joined forces for the ambitious project, which will be the largest mixed-use development outside the CBD.

Village Cinemas Australia divisional chief financial officer Chris Stanley said they were very excited about introducing this new offering to the market.

“We will be completely moving away from what is deemed a traditional cinema complex with the entire customer experience being transformed,” Mr Stanley said

“As a company that has a strong track record of innovation in cinema from Gold Class to Vjunior, we endeavour to deliver a high-quality dynamic experience to M-City’s customers.”

Also being added to the shopping centre is a KMart!
