THIS Is How Cold Melbourne Is Going To FEEL For The Week
Melbourne will feel as cold as ZERO degrees in coming days, as storms causing thunder, hail and snow come charging towards south-eastern Australia.
A damaging cold front, which will have freezing air behind it, is expected to smash Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia by Tuesday evening.
Rainfall has developed overnight and will fall later this morning before turning into hail later today. Thunder is expected to hit Melbourne during peak hire.
It will cause temperatures to plummet across Melbourne, with a severe wind chill making it feel even colder.
Snow will fall as low as 300 metres and could fall lower locally, with the South Eastern suburbs expected to see some snow fall.
Victorias State Emergency centre is warning Victorians to drive safely through the wet and slippery conditions and ''be on the lookout for unexpected hazards like black ice and fallen trees.''
