The Royal Wedding Date Has Been Announced
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced the date for their wedding, so mark your calendars!
The British royal and American actor will marry on May 19 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, the Prince's office has announced.
The couple will wed on a Saturday, which is unusual for the Royals, showing yet another reason that these two are not like the others.
They have previously said that "they felt it would give the public the greatest opportunity to watch, come out, support and get involved".
Meghan will also become a British citizen and be baptised into the Church of England and confirmed before the wedding.
May 19 is also a huge day in the British calendar as it is also the day of the FA Cup Final.
The date may be a little awkward for Wills as he, tipped to be Best Man, is also the President of the Football Association.
A spokesperson for the FA Cup has said: "We are aware of it [wedding date] and haven't announced times yet. It will be considered as part of the further planning."
The wedding will take place a month after the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to her third child.
It is said that the Royal Family will pay for the wedding, including the church service, music, flowers and reception and it will reflect who Harry and Megs are as a couple.
My bet is Ed Sheeran will perform at the nuptials...could you think of anything more 'Perfect'??
