The Route For Melbourne's North East Link Has Been Chosen

The final route has been chosen for a new $16.5 billion freeway that will be built between Melbourne's Eastern freeway and the Metropolitan Ring Road.

The North East Link will connect to the ring road in Greensborough and travel through Watsonia and Rosanna, before connecting to the Eastern freeway in Bulleen.

Premier Daniel Andrews says the new road will take heavy traffic off local roads and connect Melbourne's freeway network.
