Sydney Siege Call: "I'm Going To Get Shot In 15 Minutes"

A new call from the Sydney siege has revealed the harrowing moment hostage, Selina Win Pe, pleaded for her life.

The call to negotiators has been played at an inquest into the siege at the Lindt Café in December 2014.

In the chilling audio, Win Pe pleads with negotiators to turn the lights off outside the café.

“I’m going to get shot in 15 minutes in you don’t have these lights switched off,” Win Pe pleads.

“You don’t know how close I just came. Could you please have these lights switched off?

“I have 15 minutes or I’m going to get shot with a rifle. Please.”

The call came at 1.12am after several calls were made asking for the lights to be turned off.

The negotiator responds that because they are council lights they are unable to turn them off immediately.

Win Pe continues to plead: “My life is going to be gone in 15 minutes if you don’t have someone helping us”.

“I have been trying to get him the help to switch these lights off so it’s going to be my fault… do you understand.”

The outside lights remained on throughout the siege.
