Oreo, the two-month-old shih tzu-Maltese terrier cross was in the 2009 Holden Cruze taken from the Burwood One shopping complex in Burwood East on Sunday.

The 23-year-old car owner left the engine running as he went into fast food outlet but when he returned both the car and dog were missing.
Police are still sniffing out answers as to where the dog and car are, and inquiries reveal the pooch hasn't been dropped off at the RSPCA near the location of the theft.
