One Melbourne Suburb Legit Dropped Below ZERO This Morning!
Melbourne has woken up to absolute freezing morning this morning.
At 7:30 am, we managed to get to just 3.6 degrees, but it is overnight where the big stories are coming from.
In Essendon, it was below zero while you were asleep.. That’s right MINUS FIGURES, which hasn’t happened in Melbourne for quite a while.
The Bureau is warning Melburnians to rug with cold and frosty conditions predicted for the rest of the week.
"We are expecting a cold start to the day on Wednesday, with temperatures measuring about two degrees in the early hours of the morning across most parts of the state," they said.
However, it’s pretty good for anyone heading to the snow, with Victoria’s alpine region set to be transformed into a winter wonderland with resorts expecting a huge amount of snow this weekend.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Dean Stewart said: "We would expect at least 10 to 15 centimetres of snowfall in the north-east alpine region on Friday alone."
Wrap up warm!
