MULTIPLE Homes INVADED By Apex Gang In Melbourne's North
There have been two Apex-style home invasion in Melbourne’s north-west overnight with families having to hide in their bathrooms as garden boulders were thrown through the doors.
At 3:45AM a husband and wife locked themselves in their bathroom after they woke to the sound of glass doors smashing in their Roberts Road, Airport West house.
Once they felt safe to emerge they discovered their 2011 Volkswagen Scirocco coupe with registration CJT-086 was missing along with he woman’s purse and watches.
In the second invasion, a family of four, including two young children, were woken when offenders used a garden boulder to smash through their bi-fold doors at 4:55AM.
The family were confronted in their Kerfold Road, Essendon, home by three males of African appearance. The father of the family threw the keys of his Holden to the offenders but they weren’t foo enough, with the males wanting the keys to his Jeep.
They ended speeding off with his 2015 Holden Club Sport Anniversary model with the registration AFL-266. There are only 100 of these cars in circulation.
