Melbourne Set To Honour Jacinta Ardern
The iconic photo of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern hugging a woman will be painted onto a silo in Melbourne.
The image, with the Arabic word for ‘’peace’ underneath, will be painted a symbol of unity on a 25-metre Hugh silo in the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick.
In just over 24-hours, more than $11,000 has been crowdfunded for the mural.
The idea came from a local resident and is now a local business and community-led project, with permission from the silo owner.
