Man Held At Knifepoint Inside Melbourne Shopping Centre

A man has been threatened with a knife and had his car stolen at Westfield Knox.

On the Knox Eyewatch Facebook page, Knox Sergeant Col Clausen said the 24-year-old victim had been approached by three men and a woman while he sat in one of the shopping centre’s car parks just after midnight on Saturday.

A man removed the victim's keys from his car and threatened him with a small kitchen knife.

He was then ordered out of his car, and the three men drive off in it

The location of the woman is unknown.

Sgt Clausen said the stolen car was a green 1999 Toyota Corolla and the registration number was PQK 892.

He asked the public to keep an eye out for the vehicle and report any sightings to 000. Anyone with further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
