Karen Ristevski's Daughter To Testify In Murder Hearing
The daughter of accused wife-killer Borce Ristevski is scheduled to testify at a high-profile Melbourne court hearing over the alleged murder of her mother, Karen Ristevski.
Sarah Ristevski was aged 21 when her mother was allegedly murdered at the family's Avondale Heights home in Melbourne's west in June 2016.
The accused killer, her father Borce, claimed his fashion boutique owner wife Karen went for a walk to clear her mind and never returned.
But prosecutors allege he killed her and drove her black Mercedes-Benz coupe to dispose of her body in bushland, killing the signal on his mobile phone along the way.
Karen had been missing for eight months before her remains were found among logs at Macedon Regional Park by two horticulturists in February 2017.
Borce Ristevski, who was charged in December, is now facing a two-week committal hearing to determine if there is enough evidence for him to stand trial for his wife's murder.

Prosecutor Matt Fisher opened the hearing in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday, saying the Ristevskis were in dire financial straits at the time of the murder, with their store Bella Bleu having lost more than $320,000 over a four-year period.
"It is alleged the financial predicament was very serious," he said.
The committal hearing continues before magistrate Suzanne Cameron and the Ristevskis' daughter Sarah is due to give evidence on Tuesday.
