Jealous Woman Who Ran Over Her Boyfriend's Lover Sentenced
A jealous woman who ran over her cheating boyfriend's lover is due to be sentenced in Melbourne.
Elisha Browne became enraged when she saw her then-boyfriend, Ross Perrys, with Maria Tigler at his house in suburban Clayton on April 3 this year.
Browne pursued them in her car, ramming them before they stopped and got out.
But Brown kept driving, taking aim at the pair as they ran away, and hitting Ms Tigler.
"Ms Tigler heard her bones breaking from being hit. She was dragged about 30 metres," prosecutor Megan Casey previously told the County Court of Victoria.
Browne has previously pleaded guilty to recklessly causing serious injury to Ms Tigler after she "saw red" and was "angry and jealous".
Ms Tigler suffered a fractured femur and needed a titanium rod inserted in her thigh.
She also needed treatment for a broken ankle, and suffers flashbacks and nightmares.
Browne is due to be sentenced before Judge Frank Gucciardo on Friday.
