Several Cars Received Punctured Tyres On Monash Freeway
Peak hour traffic is worse than usual this morning after several cars have been forced to pull over on the Monash Freeway after their tires were punctured.
It is believed that up to seven cars have so far been affected by flat tyres and have had to pull over near Huntingdale Road.
The cause of the punctures is not yet known.
Meantime, drivers are being warned of reports that screws and nails have been found on the road near Brunswick Road and Nicholson Street in Fitzroy North.
If you don't want to start your weekend purchasing a set of new tyres, we suggest steering clear of these areas until Victoria Police have resolved the issue.
