The SES is predicting chaos on Tuesday with storms bringing winds of 100km/h and seas topping 7 metres.

Wild storms on Sunday left 36,000 homes without power but that could just be a taste of what is to come.
The strong, gusty winds are tipped to batter Melbourne just before a cold front hits the metro area at about 4PM.

Regional Victoria will see the storms arrive at 10AM but they will strengthen as they get towards Melbourne.
The SES has told Victorians to move their vehicles under cover, clear the backyards and secure items such as outdoor furniture, umbrellas and trampolines, which can cause substancial damage if blown around.
