FURIOUS Commuters Vent At Disastrous Replacement Buses

A number of stations seem to be struggling to deal with the recent public transport changes.

Reports on social media show massive waits for replacement buses after Metro Tunnel works shut down a number of train lines across Melbourne.

Twitter is currently blowing up with furious passengers facing huge delays on the commute into work.

@andrew_lund @9NewsMelb replacement buses from Pakenham to Westall going well...this is at Dandenong station. @danielbowen it doesn't help when posters say buses are every 20 minutes

@metrotrains So the job of running ‘buses replacing trains’, do you just give that to the New Metro Guy every time? It’s the only explanation I can think of for this disastrous effort. #metro #commuter #rage #ffs

It just took over 2 hours to get to Westall from Pakenham. 2 hours. And you expect us to pay for the rest of the trip. @BradBattinMP

Took the bus an hour 15 standing on a bus, to get from Berwick to Westall , on the freeway then through Police Rd. That’s after waiting 15mins for a bus. They all arrived packed from Pakenham!!

Not enough buses, long queue of 50 people at sanddown park station with only a few people able to get on.

Absolute joke this is. 1.20 to get from pakenham to Dandenong and no express bus when it was advertised for a month.
