Melbourne Shopping Centre Linked To Severe Disease Outbreak
Cooling towers near a Melbourne shopping centre have been linked to a recent outbreak of Legionnaire’s disease.
Four people have been hospitalised since February in the area near the shopping centre.
The Department of Health & Human services has now taken samples from several local cooling towers near Cranbourne Shopping Centre.
Symptoms of Legionnaires include headaches, fever, chills, muscle aches and pains. If you are suffering from any of these symptoms, you are being told to head to your GP as soon as possible.
