Airport Chaos As All Flights In And Out Of Bali Cancelled

It's not good news for Bali holidaymakers as all flights have now been cancelled over the eruption of Mt Agung.

Over the weekend, thousands of passengers were affected by volcanic ash as planes were rerouted or never took off.

Now, all flights in and out of Bali have been cancelled.

Jetstar cancelled all Bali flights at 6am on Monday, but the complete closure of the Denpasar Airport is expected to cause more chaos.

On Sunday, Air Asia followed Jetstar and Qantas, cancelling flights between Denpasar and Perth while Virgin scrapped flights from the eastern states to Bali.

Natasha Liddle told PerthNow she had only found out her AirAsia flight had been cancelled when she arrived at the airport.

“I’m pretty disappointed,” she said.
