A Melbourne Hospital Has Been Thrown Into Lockdown Overnight

Footscray Hospital was thrown into lockdown overnight over a bomb scare.

The bomb response unit was on scene conducting safety checks in Eleanor Street, a Police Spokeswoman said.

Traffic and pedestrian diversions were in place while the checks were being made.

The hospital has now been re-opened and all roads are operating as normal.
