We've Been Applying Deodorant Wrong This Whole Time
As an adult there are some things we expect to have finally perfected.
We can tie our shoe laces.
Brush our teeth.
Wait, what's that - you thought you knew how to apply deodorant? Well we have some bad news for you, because apparently we've been doing it wrong this whole time!
Here we were reaching for the antiperspirant before heading out the door, assured that we'd be protected against bad odours and sweat patches.
According to the guys in the know we should in fact be applying deodorant of a night - when we're less likely to perspire.
Apparently by doing so, the antiperspirant's aluminum-based active ingredient is pulled into the sweat ducts - effectively plugging those potentially smelly pores.
By doing things this way your deodorant should last longer, well into the next day - even if you do have a morning wash.
And if you think the idea of clogging your pores sounds unhealthy, according to the medical experts you're all good to plug away!
