UK Man Picks Up 'Worst-Ever' Super Gonorrhoea

A UK bloke has caught what’s been described as the world's "worst-ever" case of gonorrhoea.
Heath authorities have actually gone ahead and called it super gonorrhoea.
The BBC reported that despite having a regular partner in the UK, he picked up the disease after a sexual encounter with a woman in South East Asia.
While gonorrhoea is usually cleared up with antibiotics, this is the first time the infection has resisted treatment.
"This is the first time a case has displayed such high-level resistance to both of these drugs and to most other commonly-used antibiotics,"
Frighteningly, the World Health Organisation and the European Centres for Disease Control have also agreed this is a world first.
To contain its spread, health officials are trying to track down any other sexual partners the man may have had.

But symptoms can include a thick green or yellow discharge from sexual organs, pain when urinating and bleeding between periods.
Untreated, it can lead to infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease and can be passed on to a child during pregnancy.
The infection is spread by unprotected vaginal, oral and anal sex.
