Scientists Have Figured Out How Often Dudes Should Ejaculate
In the best news for dudes since scientists proved that having sex can actually cure a woman's headache, a study has once again come (pardon the pun) to the rescue and encouraged them to have sex way more often.
You can thank a bunch of researchers at Harvard University for the welcome confirmation; while trying to better understand how men could lower their risk of developing prostate cancer, they discovered that participants with a healthy sexual activity fared better than those without.
"We found that men reporting higher compared to lower ejaculatory frequency in adulthood were less likely to be subsequently diagnosed with prostate cancer," the study reads.
"This large prospective study provides the strongest evidence to date of a beneficial role of ejaculation in the prevention of prostate cancer."
And it's a pretty impressive stat, too; men who ejaculated 21 times a month could reduce their risk by a whopping 33 per cent.
While scientists aren't sure exactly why it helps, it probably has something to do with flushing out toxins.
Since the rates of prostate cancer are on the rise - it's the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men - the study is certainly a welcome one.
As is this news, no doubt; have fun tonight, guys!
