You’ve Been Cooking Bacon Wrong Your WHOLE LIFE

We’re all for a new cooking trick every now and then, how glorious to find a better way to do something we do all the time - but sometimes, just sometimes, ‘hacks’ seem downright WHACK.

That’s the case with the theory circulating a tonne of US websites right now, which to me, is just downright strange.

To get crispier, more delicious bacon, the theory states that you need to start with a cold frying pan, and get this - bacon SUBMERGED in cold tap water.

You then bring the water to the boil and cook the bacon until the water has evaporated completely.

Then, just a few more minutes over heat and, the videos claim, you’ll have perfect bacon.
