If like me, you seize the opportunity to remember our diggers and try your hand at a game of Two Up, then you probably want to know the best places to take your friends and celebrate the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
It's only fitting that you have somewhere to play Two Up and here are the best Melbourne places to do just that!
It's a huge carnival at the Caulfield RSL and it goes all day on Anzac Day! Starting at 8AM with a gunfire breakky before Two-Up goes from noon until 6. Throw in some live music, bush dancing and kids activities and you don't need to be anywhere else!
Mail Exchange Hotel
It's a massive pub right in the centre of the City and is a must attend as it draws huge crowds!
Breakfast is served straight after the dawn service at the Shrine of Remembrance and then two-up can be played from noon until 7PM.
The Palace Hotel : South Melbourne
It's a later start for the Palace as the proceedings kick off at 10AM, with two-up going strong until 6PM. Get there for pub grub, the footy on the big screens and more craft beers on tap than you can count!
It's one of the oldest RSL's is the country and it's always bustling on Anzac Day especially following it's recent restoration. It's open all day for cheap beer and two-up galore.

By far the most walked past pub in Melbourne, on the corner of Flinders Street, it's one of the most popular location for march goers. The two-up ring will be there from 10am until 5pm with music seeing the night through.
