Netflix Reveals What They Know About You

Netflix has recently released data showing what the users (you guys) love to watch and at what time of the day… freaky eh?

Using data from 22 countries over six months, the company found various trends and viewing patterns, like the fact that comedies are more likely to be watched in the morning and end of the day.

Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, Cindy Holland said “For years our lives had to fit around television, now it’s the other way around,”

“We’ve given consumers control and it’s interesting to see the behaviors that emerge when viewers aren’t tied to a schedule. And even more so to see that these routines are replicated by millions the world over.” Cindy said.

According to the released data, Drama shows are most viewed at midday and also in the evening time, accounting for 47 percent of viewing around the world.

Documentaries are most watched between midnight and 6am (If you can't sleep, you might as well learn something).

Australia and New Zealand were among the countries studied along with Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, and United States.
