So Melburnians………it’s time to party- as Melbourne Day offers a full day of celebrations in the heart of the city. There will also be a drawing competition involving all primary school children across Victoria to draw icons of the city of Melbourne, and the best line drawing will be on the front cover of the 2016 City of Melbourne Birthday card and hat- available online.
Melbourne Day aims to educate citizens on the founding of Melbourne, which was August 30, 1835 and to celebrate this annual day through highlighting all the wonderful attributes of our city that make it a wonderful place to live, work and visit.
So come and support everything that is great about our city as it is now up to us to tell the story in the next stage of this historical event!
