The New iPhone 8: Like Nothing You’ve Seen Before!
There have been plenty of rumours that Apple are planning something big for the iPhone 8 and if the latest are to be believed - it will be like nothing you’ve seen before!
As the company prepares for the 10th anniversary of the game-changing phone, new details have leaked of what we can expect.
According to MacRumors, a report from the guy considered “the best Apple analyst on the planet” - Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, lists four major changes.
At the top of the list - a third size (5.8 inch) is expected to be launched alongside those we are used to.
The screens, which are currently LCD, will be replaced by OLED panels, which mean they’ll be far thinner, brighter and efficient than what we’re used to.
Thirdly, in what may seem daunting news for those of us prone to dropping the phones, the models will also have a glass unibody chassis. This will also allow for wireless charging.
These claims have been backed up by the Wall Street Journal, who added that a curved ‘edgeless display’ is also on the cards.
While obviously there’s no confirmation from Apple at the moment (and unlikely there will be any till September 2017), it adds to a long list of rumours circulating around the net.
Most notably is the belief that the new models will ditch the home button, which will allow for thinner, smaller phones without impacting on screen sizes.
We guess only time will tell...
