Nokia Phones Don’t Look Like This Anymore
Nokia is BACK people!
The once undisputed King of the mobile phone industry is back in a big way.
After being dominated by current market leaders Samsung and Apple, Nokia sold its phone in 2014 for $9.9 billion to Microsoft.
It's understood that Nokia is ready to make a triumphant return to market with plans for 'new generation' smartphones and tablets.
New Android handsets and tablets will be created under the Nokia name.
In a recent statement, Nokia said: [HMD Global} has been founded to provide a focused, independent home for a full range of Nokia-branded feature phones, smartphones and tablets.
Microsoft separately said that as part of the process, HMD Global and its Taiwanese partner, FIH Mobile of FoxConn Technology Group, will take over Microsoft's feature phone business for $A484 million.
