Netflix's New Reboot Is 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy'!
Move over Will and Grace, there's a new reboot we can't wait to see!
Netflix has ordered eight episodes of a brand new 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy' and we couldn't be more excited.
And like the premise of QEFTSG the show itself is getting a bit of a makeover.
It's likely that they will headhunt five new, super stylish gays to take on the role of the Fab 5 - although the concept of the original quintet playing a role certainly hasn't been thrown out (*fingers crossed*).
They won't just be making over New York men, instead there is a political message behind the reboot with the aim to "turn red states pink".
The official statement from Netflix explains a little more...
"In a time when America stands divided and the future seems uncertain, a team of five brave men will try to bring us closer together with laughter, heart, and just the right amount of moisturizer," it reads.
"The Emmy Award winning Queer Eye is back and ready to Make America Fabulous Again. With a new Fab 5 and the show's toughest missions to date, Queer Eye moves from the Big Apple to turn the red states pink...one makeover at a time."
We can only imagine some of the men they will come across on their journey.
The original show ran from 2003 - 2007, while they also reunited for the show's 10th anniversary in 2013.
The cast was made up of Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Jai Rodriguez, Kyan Douglas and Thom Filicia who each took charge of one area of the man's life - from wardrobe to hair to interior design.
