Heather Locklear Hospitalized For Suspected Overdose
In another tragic development, it's been revealed that former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear has been hospitalized for a suspected overdose just hours after she had been bailed out of jail.
TMZ reports that the actress, 56, was taken from her California home to hospital by ambulance after police received a call about an overdose.
Earlier that day Locklear tried to hide her face after she was released from a pre-trial detention facility with her lawyer William Haney, who posted her $20,000 bail by her side.
Ventura County Sheriff's Office told DailyMail.com that they were twice called to Locklear’s home on Sunday, first at 6pm and again at 11pm.
Those were both were dispatched as 'disturbance' calls at the time.
Deputies found no crime had occurred after responding the first time and eventually left.
They returned hours later and Locklear then allegedly attacked an officer when he tried to separate her from other people at the residence.
The dispatcher said, 'There was a physical earlier with a female. There are no weapons inside the residence. No one else is there'
When a member of law enforcement tried to remove the actress from the situation, Locklear 'battered that officer by kicking him' according to a fellow member of the force, and was then arrested.
The officer described Locklear as 'extremely intoxicated and uncooperative,'
