Australia Is Getting A New Theme Park!

The development of a new theme park on the Gold Coast is one step closer after a Chinese company approved plans to invest in the attraction.

The theme park operator, Songcheng Performance Development, is expected to build the “Australian Legendary Kingdom” at Nerang.

The park is expected to be a key tourist attraction for international visitors with its close location to Surfers Paradise as well as Nerang train station.

According to the company’s stock exchange filing, the project will offer a “mixture of Australian culture and oriental culture, which will meet diversified tourist demand from different age groups”.

The Australian reports there will be different precincts, including an “Australian Aboriginal Cultural Village”, “Wild Australia” and “Mysterious Orient", along with an “Australian Legend” grand performance.

The company already owns several theme parks in China.
