Watch Bonnie Tyler Perform 'Total Eclipse' During An Eclipse

Overnight a solar eclipse took place in the northern hemisphere, resulting in people donning protective sunglasses to catch a glimpse of the once in a lifetime natural phenomenon.

In an unique way to celebrate the event, 80's rocker Bonnie Tyler joined passengers on Royal Caribbean's Total Eclipse Cruise to perform her 1983 hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart"

The song was cut down from its original eight minutes to two minutes and 40 seconds, which is the exact length of this year's eclipse.

The Total Eclipse Cruise was positioned in the path of totality where the moon is moved in front of the sun.

The rare event was seen by millions of people across North America.
