Sheryl Crow's eBay-Decorated Home
Sheryl Crow takes readers inside her Nashville home in the new issue of Country Living magazine. In the June issue cover story, the singer admits to being a total eBay junkie.
"I've always loved old stuff,” she says. “I got my love of antiquing - we called it junking - from my mom." Even her assistant calls her “the Queen of eBay.”
Her 50-acre property includes a barn that’s part recording studio, part saloon and part real horse barn. Sheryl has recorded her last two albums, Feels Like Home and 100 Miles from Memphis, in the soundproofed barn studio. “It’s ideal because I’m a single mom - I can go to work just down the driveway,” she says.
She even built her very own church, which she was inspired to build after seeing one for sale on, you guessed it - eBay. She filled the space with religious collectibles, vintage suitcases and oil paintings.
“When I bought this property, I thought it would be nice to have a space that has nothing to do with work - just a quiet and sacred place to gather,” she says.
Sheryl’s Country Living issue hits stands May 17 in the US.
