John Stamos Rejoins Beach Boys in L.A.

The Beach Boys have welcomed back their favorite part-time member. Last Thursday, John Stamos, who has worked many summer shows with them over the last 20 years, returned to the lineup at the Los Angeles County Fair. It was his first appearance with them after completing a stint in rehab.

Stamos became friends with Mike Love and the band after they guest-starred on his '80s sitcom Full House. A lifelong fan, John doesn't just come on stage and shake a tambourine for a song or two. Thursday night, he sang and played guitar on such Beach Boys concert staples as "Kokomo," "Why Do Fools Fall in Love," "Be True to Your School" and "Help Me Rhonda."

With Stamos returning to prime-time in the new FOX comedy Grandfathered where his character is clearly marked as a Beach Boys fanĀ  one can only wonder when he'll welcome his favourite band back to sitcom-land.
