The Truth Behind MAFS' Elizabeth's Secret Health Battle
On Married At First Sight last week, Elizabeth Sobinoff mysteriously disappeared with no explanation. It wasn't until the commitment ceremony that 'expert' John Aiken explained that the 27-year-old's illness was preventing her from appearing on the show.
It wasn't until last night's episode that the infamous character reappeared, but she didn't reveal exactly what was wrong with her.

"I had a virus that caused an upper respiratory tract infection and a secondary tract infection. I never told anyone on the show about my auto-immune condition. I had to be really careful and I had doctor's orders to not participate," she told TV WEEK.
She then revealed that her auto-immune condition flares up whenever she is stressed.
"It was the environment I was in and obviously my journey was very different to everyone else's. But I was trying to give it my all.
"With the stress I got the virus, the bacterial infection which could've flared up my autoimmune as well."
Many assumed that Elizabeth hadn't had chicken pox before and was consequently prohibited from any physical contact with her new 'husband' Sam. However, this turned out to be false.
Married At First Sight continues tonight from 7:30PM on Channel Nine.
