Brittany Hockley & Sophie Tieman Could Be Dual Bachelorettes

It seems the creators of the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise are always trying to come up with some sort of twist to make each season bigger and better than the last and we have to say this latest reported change is one we can definitely get on board with!

And nope this time round it’s not a secret key to the Bach pad or a rose that allows you to steal someone’s date. This twist is likely to pack on the drama in a BIG way!

Reports Brittany Hockley And Sophie Tieman Will BOTH Be The Next Bachelorette

Following Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins dual dumping of Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman on the last season of The Bachelor, it appears Channel Ten are attempting to continue the theme all while finally bring satisfaction to fans of the two girls.

After all, what could be better than watching the two girls who got dumped together finish their fairytale together too by finding the love of their lives?

That’s right! We’re hearing reports that Channel Ten are planning to cast BOTH Brit and Soph as The Bachelorette in the next season.

And you know what that means? Double the leading lady; double the men; double the drama!

According to a show insider, producers were “desperate to have Brooke [Blurton] as The Bachelorette”, so that they could cast both men and women to date the 23-year-old who has dated both sexes in the past.

“But now that [Brooke] is on Bachelor In Paradise, they’ve had to come up with a Plan B,” the source said.

“Instead of just one girl handing out the rose, they figured why not get both of them in the mansion and have a double Bachelorette.”

While Brit and Soph have dated the same guy once before, they’ve since become best friends and so we have some doubts that they would be keen to put that in jeopardy by dating a number of the same guys at the same time.

However the show insider tells NW Magazine that Channel Ten thinks that they can “make it work”.

“They’re already best friends - and have dating the same guy once before and were able to respect that and make it work. So it’s easy for them to do it again, this time with a whole batch of boys.”

“Producers need a new trick to win back the ratings. And this is it,” continued the insider.

Well we certainly would love to see this happen! But let’s just wait and see if the girls would be just as keen.
