Sir Elton John Announces 2017 Australian Concerts

Sir Elton John has announced he will be visiting Australia on his 'Once In A Lifetime' tour for a string of concerts in September 2017.

Two shows in Queensland have already been announced in Mackay and Cairns, with tour promoters Chugg Entertaiment saying Sir Elton will perform a total of four shows in Australia.

"Three of the first-and-last time events will be in cities he has never played before, and one is an intimate revisit of more than 25 years," reads the Chugg Entertainment website.

Sir Elton's 'Once In A Lifetime' tour will feature songs spanning his five-decade career, backed by his original drummer Nigel Olsson. His musical director Davey Johnstone will be on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion and Kim Bullard on keyboards.

Sir Elton first performed in Australia way back in October 1971, see the announced dates for his 2017 visit below.
