Neil Youngs Performs "Old Man" with "Neil Young" Compliments Fallon on Impersonation
Neil Young performed with himself Tuesday night. Young visited The Tonight Show to plug his latest album and Pono, the high-resolution music player and download service, and took time out to sing a duet with Fallon, who does a dead-on impersonation of the 69-year-old singer/songwriter.
Fallon has impersonated the veteran rocker in the past and did so again Tuesday as Young joined him for a duet of his song "Old Man." Young and Fallon were dressed in similar outfits.
Young later complimented Fallon on the impersonation, saying, "I saw you doing me before and I always thought it was unbelievable." Young then joked about the high-profile impersonation, saying, "This is the most I've been on TV, ever."
Young, backed by Fallon's house band, The Roots also performed a song off his Storytone album called, "Who's Gonna Stand Up."
