Foo Fighters Rumoured To Be Releasing New Music In 2017

News of fresh music from rock legends Foo Fighters, who are reportedly set to record a new album in 2017, has spread following rumoured info from a festival they're headlining in the coming months.

The new album, which would be their ninth in total, would be the follow-up to their 2014 album Sonic Highways. In 2015 they released EPs, Songs From The Laundry Room and Saint Cecilia.

The band are set to headline BottleRock Napa Valley Festival in May, the new information coming from Dave Graham, CEO of Latitude 38 who is the company behind BottleRock, "The Foo Fighters are in the studio all [2017] recording a new album and BottleRock may be their only show in 2017 in North America," Graham said in an interview with Napa Valley Register.

Graham continues, "...Dave Grohl gives it all, he leaves nothing on the table. Even if someone isn’t into their music or has never heard of them, they’re going to look at this guy and go ‘Wow, that’s a rock star."

The band has made no confirmation at this stage about any plans to release new music this year.
